Ingredients needed
15 3/4 oz cooked crabmeat, drained and flaked 3 tablespoons butter 1 large onion, finely chopped 1 stalk celery, finely chopped 1/4 lb (125g) mushrooms,chopped 1/2 teaspoon salt dash of pepper 1 1/2 tablespoons flour 1 tablespoon paprika 2 teaspoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons malt vinegar 2 tablespoons of tomato puree 1/2 cup (125ml) cream
Melt butter in a pan, add onion and celery and saute for 5 min. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring for 2 min. Stir in flour, paprika, salt, pepper, brown sugar and cook 2-3 min. Combine vinegar and tomato puree and stir into the pan, Cover and simmer gently for 20 min. Fold in crabmeat and cream,heat but do not boil Serve hot and enjoy!!
