Wild West Tournament Information

What a turn out at the Informational Meeting! Thank you all for coming & showing your support for this new tournament series!! Below is information about the tournament for those who were unable to attend. Also attached is the Registration Form.

* $2400 + Tax Entry Fee ($2000 for 4 main tournament events. $400 for aggregate)
* 100% Payback of Entry Fees
*Total Prize Money will equal $48,000 (based off 20 boats). So if we get more than 20 boats, the Prize Money payouts will increase accordingly.
* Entry into Aggregate will be cut off at 25 boats
* Registration must be made & paid in full by March 15th
* Anglers may pay a $500 non-refundable deposit to register, but again, they must be paid in full by March 15th or they forfeit that money.
* Anglers may chose to fish just one tournament leg. They can register for that at any time during this series with a $500 entry fee. They will not be eligible to participate in the aggregate
* Boundaries will be Cedar Key to Boca Grande and as far west as you chose to go
*Check out & Check in will be in John's Pass.
*Captain's Meetings & Weigh In's will take place at John's Pass Hooters

Some great extras that are over & above the tournament payouts:
***First Choice Marine is going to give a brand new Mercury motor to the team that runs Mercury motors on their boat & places the highest in the Aggregate.
***NBOA Marine Insurance is going to give a minimum of $500 to the team that has a NBOA policy & places the highest in the each of the 4 tournaments.
***Don's Dock VIP gas card, good for 40 cents off a gallon (no expiration date!) will be given to all those that are paid in full by March 15th

Saturday, November 17th Fish Day & Weigh In

This is a great opportunity for our sport and fishing teams in the area!! The meeting that was conducted with interested participants was well attended and orchestrated.

Thank you Mark! We are excited to hold these events! Our fellow fishermen came to us looking for this type of tournament & we felt it was time to get things rolling! It was great meeting you at the info meeting & hope to see you down here for one of the tournaments!

If anyone is considering registering for the tournament, remember that we are cutting the # of entries allowed in the Aggregate at 25 boats. So make sure to register early!

We are up to 14 registered boats! Expect to get to 20 by Monday!! Get your registrations in if you want to be able to fish for the Aggregate!!

We are up to 18 boats as of last night!! 2 more to go to get us up to the GUARANTEED PAYOUT of $5,000, $3,000, $2000 for 1st, 2nd & 3rd for EACH TOURNAMENT!! Plus $5,000, $2,000 & $1,000 for the Aggregate!! Get those registrations in!! Aggregate closes out as soon as we reach 25 boats!!

There seems to be some great new tournaments starting up in Florida this year! Looking forward to fishing a few!

We have 5 wounded veterns going out fishing on April 7th in conjunction with the Wild West Tournament! A special thanks to Brian Hasson & Team Kindred Spear-It, who will have one lucky vet on their boat fishing the actual tournament with them! And thank you to John Molfetto & Intrepid Boats, who are taking 3 vets out fishing that day also!! Plus one other boat will be taking out the other vet!
