Originally schedule for April 7,2012 Date has been changed to the 14th. We have been ask by Anglers For Conservation to join in the Earth Day events. This will get us more kids attending and more awareness to conservation. kids will fish a derby with prizes in Boys catagory as well as Girls catagory, Will have raffles to raise money for KFFAC, and kids clinics teaching them conservation, safe fishing practices, and to enjoy the sport of fishing. There will be demonstrations on the Easy2hook products as well as learning to bait their hooks and how to properly handle the fish they catch. It is my understanding that the county shut this tournament down because they didn't have the proper "event insurance". Now come on, this tournament benefits children with cancer. I'm not sure what the "event insurance" costs, but the KFFAC is trying to now raise money to cover this. Let's all get together & give money so this event can take place.
