Thank you to everyone who came out last night & made the Captain's Meeting a huge success!!
We picked up an additional 3 teams for this first leg which brings the winnings for Saturday to:
1st Place: $7000 2nd Place: $4200 3rd Place: 2800
We are looking forward to seeing some big fish at the weigh in on Saturday! Don't forget about our "Anglers Only" raffle - even if you don't place on Saturday you still have the chance to win some great prizes if you are fishing the event!
Good luck to all fishing!

All 28 teams headed out this morning. Winds were blowing but nothing was going to stop these die hard fishermen & women from going balls to the wall to get to their spots.
We road out in the check out boat that Intrepid so nicely provided and let me tell you this was one NICE boat. It was a 32' Intrepid 327 and it road like it had shocks underneath it! What a first class vessel this company makes! Thank you John for taking us out & for taking 3 wounded veterns out to fish today!
We are looking forward to some big fish weighed in today at Hooter's! _________________

Check out the trophies for the series. The huge handcarved wood trophy is for the winner of the Aggregate competition, which will be decided in November at the last tournament for the year. I have to give total props to James, Tournament Director (and my husband) who has over 30 hours into carving this amazing trophy!! Attachments:

Superb tournament! Great turn out for your 1st event! As just a spectator, I really enjoyed the location of the event, the flow of the tournament, & watching some great teams weigh in some big fish! The Wild West is well on its way into become the premier kingfish tournament on the West Coast! Congrats to Angler Armory!

The Tournament has been reschedule for Sunday, April 29th. Please see our Tournament Page for more details on new weigh in times, etc.
Mother Nature is just not one to be messed with & for the safety of our teams & their boats, this was the best choice to make considering the weather forecast for Sunday.
We have extended Registration until next Friday, April 27th at 6pm. Registration forms are available at Dogfish Tackle.
